Matthew Oakley

Matthew L. Oakley is a Negro-Indian Filmmaker of the Muscogee Creek Tribe. He is also a SAG-AFTRA actor, and Taekwondo martial artist. Oakley pursued his collegiate career in Oklahoma City where he majored in Broadcasting at the University of Central Oklahoma. While other of Oakley's peers pursued the local news industry Oakley focused on Film and Television production. Oakley later enrolled in acting at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City.

As a student Oakley adopted the Mihut Method at SVA by renown international acting coach Mihaela Mihut. Oakley is the creator of the first and only black superhero series in the state of Oklahoma titled β€œThe Seer.”

Oakley continues to make strides in front and behind the camera being a multi-faceted artist who believes that strife is the basis of all greatness.
